tuesday tunes: grizzly bear

Here are two of my favorite videos by Grizzly Bear. Kinda surrreal but the music is lovely. Hope you enjoy...

You can catch more of Grizzly Bear on the Blue Valentine movie soundtrack!

season's greetings

Are you all ready and shopped-out for the holidays? I'm glad I am done. I've only major wrapping to do.

I wanted to share these photo prints from labokoff called "Pole series" just because these are gorgeous...

And here is a great holiday playlist I found on dailycandy. Perfect to listen to while I deck the halls and make spirits bright!

Happy Christmas!

things i didn't know i wanted

Today I'm sharing random things I've come across that are cute, unusual, bizarre.

How many times have you wished there was a dislike button on Facebook? I know I wish for it 10 times a day. Well, here's the next best thing. This cool stamp (and it's regular "Like" counterpart) are available here.

I want these blocks. Mind you, I have babies no more, but aren't they awesome. Not your typical alphabet. Very design-y ;)

What do you think of these containers. They're oil drizzlers to be exact. I don't think you can use these for anthing other than liquids. They are from this site.

And if I had chickens, I would want to keep them in this nice and fancy (and green!) coop. Actually, chickens or no chickens, I would love to have this in the yard. The kiddies would love an egg-shaped playhouse. Ha! You can find out more via this site.

And just because its Tuesday, here is a tune I ♥ ♥ ♥:

tuesday?... tunes!

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Bat for Lashes. I especially love the song B4L did with Beck for the Eclipse soundtrack. (That song is "Let's get Lost".) Check out the video for "Daniel" - one of my fav.

Did you see Florence and the Machine at the VMAs. She, also, has such a great voice. I guess you can figure out by these that I enjoy ethereal, feminine vocals. I do have a rougher, darker side too.... which I will disclose some other time. Ha ha ha ha ha (think wicked laugh).

What's in your iPod right now? Are your musical tastes all over the place or are you happy with a certain genre?
