amy atlas: dessert table queen

I think I don't have to say anything about Amy Atlas. One look at this NYC event planner's work and you'll know what makes her awesome. Take a look:

So what do you think? Great or great? It's all in the details. And just in time for Thanksgiving, check out this cute table she made for her blog readers' delight:

Are you inspired? You can see much more of her work in full detail on her site here.

tea for thursday

I've upped my tea intake lately. Could be the chill in the air or because I need some comfort food (beverage)! Never the less, I do indulge in daily 'tea time'. I loves it. Today, I'm sharing some innovative tea bags I've come across. None of which I've personally enjoyed, I must say...

i haven't the words...

I love Scrabble but it's been a while since I play. It's not my family's favorite board game. But now, I can have my Scrabble and eat it too! These iconic tiles are everywhere. You've seen the necklaces and other jewelry, but have you seen edible Scrabble?

Scrabblicious right?  Letters, and typography in general, are so much fun.

What do you think of these alphabetically interesting objects?

Ok, and back to Scrabble.

fabulous find friday -- are you 'a little' hungry?

Maybe because it's that time between lunch and dinner, or maybe because these are just too darn cute, but I just want some Mini Food.

Aren't these fun! I found them on Etsy -- forever the purveyor of fabulous handmade goods from all over. The Mini Food Decoration shop offers tiny and "delicious dishes" as handbag charms, zipper pulls, pendants, keychains, and so on.

Don't you want one? Yummy!

ming makes cupcakes, yum!

The weekend, a long one at that, is around the corner! Do you have any plans? Family visiting? Friends coming over for some b-b-q? Well, I have dessert covered!

Hubby sent me this wonderful link to Ming Makes Cupcakes. (You think he was giving me hint?!) She  makes amazingly-flavored cupcakes AND is nice enough to provide recipes for the world to see. Doesn't Coffee Chocolate cupcakes with Baileys Irish Cream frosting sound delish? Or how about sour Cream Fig cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting? Mmmmm Mmmmm.

If your kids need to bring a treat to school, voilà! Ming is the place to go for recipes. Cupcakes. Done. Just remember that the Baileys Irish Creme frosting is probably not a good choice for them ;)

She also makes cookies and savory bites. Check it out!
